We operate as a medium-sized family business based in Garrel, Lower Saxony, with business activities focused on the development, production and distribution of wheels and bicycle trailers. This combines production to order or in-house manufacturing and marketing under the ROLAND brand. All manufactured products are based on an interaction of modern production processes, up-to-date technology as well as the employment of motivated and experienced employees. As a result, we produce a variety of different products in exceptional quality, which is confirmed by our long-term customer relationships.

Impeller production

The use of selected components from leading suppliers provides us with the basis for manufacturing high-quality wheels. Combined with the use of modern computer-controlled spoking and centering machines - in combination with separate work steps by hand - we ensure the achievement of a consistent production level while offering a wide range of models. An extensive stock of goods and the possibility of providing goods by the customer create the necessary flexibility for timely order processing. Open and partially automated communication, the use of up-to-date information tools creates the necessary planning capability for our customers.

Bicycle trailers - production and marketing

With established and technically mature cargo trailers for bicycles, we offer transport solutions and actively support the mobility revolution. The further development of existing models as well as the redesign of new products create recurring new marketing opportunities for the wholesalers and specialist dealers in our network and offer end customers suitable solutions to new requirements. Production in Germany, a regionally oriented supplier environment supports the sustainable view of our plans.

TOP100 Award

Roland Werk GmbH is one of the TOP100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. Initiated by a generation change in the company and a changed understanding of mobility in the two-wheeler industry, new opportunities and challenges arose to meet the importance of our products.
